I'm using Chrome on Android. Why do I keep getting a search popup when I select some text?
You may have Tap to Search enabled on your device. Follow the instructions below to fix this.
To turn off Tap to Search:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app.
- Tap the More icon in the upper right (three dots), then Settings.
- Tap Sync and Google services, then Tap to Search.
- Turn off Tap to Search.
